Becoming a part of Rocktations is easy.  Just create a free user account, sign in, and follow these steps:

1.  Select the Create Rocktation link.
2.  Enter a title and choose a category for your Rocktation.  You can view a description of each category, together with a sample lyric, by clicking on the category link on the homepage.
3.  Provide the text of your Rocktation together with other requested information, including the name of the artist, the name of the song, and the name and year of the album on which the song appears.

Try to provide as much of the above information as possible, in order both to ensure that the artist receives credit for his or her work and to enable others to locate and purchase the song.  Also, please provide only as much of the lyrics as is reasonably necessary to illustrate their meaning to you.  Just leave blank any information about which you are unsure.  We will provide it for you.

4. Submit your Rocktation. 

That's it!  We review all Rocktations for accuracy and attribution before posting them.  Your Rocktations will appear on the site soon after your submission, allowing others to gain insight and inspiration from the poetry that rocks.
